Day 1

Krasnodar Territory, Sochi

Arriving to airport, transfer from the airport.

Hotel check-in

Walking around the Sochi accompanied by a guide. You will see the beautiful architecture of the Sochi Seaport building, walk along the Black sea pebble shore with the peaceful sound of the waves.

Dinner on the seashore and overnight in the hotel.

Day 2

Krasnodar Territory, Sochi

Breakfast in the hotel.

Sochi is a favorite resort city of Russians and guests of our country, located on the black sea coast, in the subtropical zone. And, of course, Sochi was the capital of the XXII winter Olympic games.

Transfer 13 km to Sochi Olympic Park.

Interesting objects built specifically for the Olympic games. For the first time in the history of the winter Olympic and Paralympic games, all ice arenas are built within walking distance of each other. Stadiums and the Olympic torch are located in Coastal and Mountain clusters.

We will go to the Imereti valley, to the Olympic sites located on the Black sea coast.


Transfer to the observation tower on mount Ahun. Climb to the observation tower. The tower was built in 101 days by order of Stalin, and the road to it along the mountain serpentine was laid in 3 months. The tower's observation decks offer beautiful views of Sochi, Adler, Abkhazia, and the tops of the Caucasus mountains.

Day 3

Krasnodar Territory, Sochi - Adygeya

Breakfast in the hotel.

Transfer to the railway station.

Boarding a modern high-speed train "Swallow".

Its route runs through picturesque places-the North Caucasus Biosphere reserve. The composition is characterized by comfort and smooth running.

Arrival in the city of Maykop, Republic of Adygeya.

Solemn meeting. Dance of a couple in national costumes, traditional treats, lots of smiles and good mood!

Transfer to the Hadjoh gorge, 40 km.

Walk to the Hadjoh gorge.

This is a section of the Belaya river canyon, which is equipped with an excursion route with a length of 800 m. With great force, the mountain river breaks into a narrow gorge, creating an extraordinary natural monument of beauty. In the dark, spectacular lighting is organized. The Hadjoh gorge is a safe excursion site, with paths, stairs, railings, and viewing platforms

Day 4

Krasnodar Territory, Adygeya - North Caucasus.

Breakfast in the hotel.

Transfer to Cherkessk (130 km, 2.5 hours)

City tour of Cherkessk. The capital of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic, a Cossack city built in the early XIX century. At first, the city was a military fortress, but as the Caucasus developed, this function lost its significance.

Transfer to Pyatigorsk.

Ethnic dinner with Cossacks.

Cossacks are people inhabiting the Stavropol Territory for hundreds of years.

In the past they used to be brave warriors and experts in fancy riding.

Their descendants keep the traditions of their ancestors.

Day 5

North Caucasus. Pyatigorsk.

Breakfast at the hotel

Walk on the mountain Mashuk.

Climbing Mount Mashuk by funicular. Time for photos.

Lunch in the local restraint.

Failure Lake is actually a karst well. The lake is filled with blue hydrogen sulfide mineral water. 160 years ago there was no tunnel to this small lake.

Tourists were lowered from above, in a basket.

Transfer to Kabardino-Balkariya republic (3 hours).

Day 6

North Caucasus. Elbrus.

Breakfast at the hotel.

Ascent to Elbrus by cable car to a height of 3,800 m.

Elbrus is a sleeping double peak volcano. It’s listed as one of the seven highest mountains in the world, along with Chomolungma and Kilimanjaro. Its height above sea level is 5,642 m. Will you be lucky to see the legendary summits or will Elbrus hide them in the clouds?

Transfer to Nalchik city center. Nalchik is a small town in the heart of the North Caucasus. It is a resort city- green, cozy and airy! Here they say: “the guest is sent by God”, so guests are offered the best.

And then transfer to Vladikavkaz, North Ossetia-Alania.

Stopover at Narzans Glade - the place where mineralized waters spring out of the ground. There are totally three springs there. You can drink water in each of them and take some along in your bottles.

Dinner and ossetian master-class

Ossetian pies serve as a culinary landmark of Ossetia. You will wonder why you didn’t bake them before, as it’s so exciting and delicious too!

The traditional lunch is followed by a culinary interactive session.

Day 7

North Caucasus. North Ossetia-Alania, Ingushetia, Chechnya.

Breakfast at the hotel.

Vladikavkaz city tour. On the left bank of the turbulent Terek River you can find a Sunni Mosque (Mukhtarov Mosque), built 109 years ago.

You will see the beautiful Alexandrovsky Avenue. One part of the avenue was built before the beginning of the twentieth century. The architecture resembles the architecture of St. Petersburg. The second part of the avenue was built after the Bolsheviks came to power. The architecture of this part is characteristic of the Soviet period.

Guests will also see a bridge with sculptures of leopards. Leopards are a symbol of Ossetians.
A visit to the souvenir shop is planned.

Transfer (25 km) to Nazran (Ingushetia) for touring Memorial of Memory and Glory, with one stopover.

Memorial of Memory and Glory. The memorial complex was built in 1997. Each object of the memorial is filled with deep meaning. The heated freight car used to deport the Ingush from their motherland, as well as the memorial plates listing the names of the residents of Ingushetia, who participated in the Great Patriotic War. 9 towers braided with barbed wire. The towers symbolize the number of deported peoples. The Monument to the last defender of the Brest Fortress lieutenant Umatgirei Artangovich Barkhanoev. Equestrian Monument dedicated to the legendary Wild Division.

Transfer to the Grozny 135 km (2,5-3 h).

Lunch in the local restaurant.

Arrival in Grozny, evening city tour. In the evening, the city is nicely illuminated and doesn’t look less exciting than in the daytime.

Grozny is a city-phoenix revived from ashes after so long-run war.

The Grozny Tower was erected in the beginning of the 19th century, the Church named after Michael the Archangel was built by means of public donations, which was destroyed during the war and restored again. There is a sky-scrapers complex of “Grozny-City” opposite the church, and the observation deck of one of them provides a bird’s eye panorama of the city. You can also see the spiritual heart of the city- the Heart of Chechnya Mosque.

Day 8

North Caucasus. Chechnya.

Transfer to the Argun Gorge (40 km)

It’s a beautiful gorge, through which a road has been hacked out by the generations of Chechens. A mountain river, ancient towers- all that you will be able to see on the way.

Stopover at Nikhaloy waterfalls for lunch. Walk to the waterfalls.

Evening tour to Shali

Not far from the city of Grozny (40 km) there is a mosque of extraordinary beauty. This is the largest mosque in Europe (up to 30 thousand people.

These places are especially beautiful in the evening. We will also see a mosque in Argun, decorated in a modern style.

The evening tour is organized at the request of tourists.

Day 9

North Caucasus. Dagestan. Kezenoy Am

Breakfast in the hotel.

Transfer to Kezenoy Am (130 км).

Lunch at the lake.

Excursion to the ancient village. From the Western Bay of Kezenoy Am, it is only two kilometers to the fortified fortress city of Hoi.

Its battle and signal towers loomed over a deep ravine.

The mountain slopes are lined with dozens of ancient artificial terraces for farming.

Day 10

North Caucasus. Dagestan.

Breakfast in the hotel.

Transfer to Sulak Canyon. 130 км

You will see an unforgettable view of the deepest canyon. Its depth is almost two kilometers. And the waters of the Sulak River have an incredible turquoise color.

Lunch. Transfer to Machachkala.

A walk along the seafront of the Caspian Sea, a tour of the city center and a farewell dinner at the national style.

Day 11

North Caucasus. Derbent.

Breakfast at the hotel

Transfer for Derbent. About 2 hours’ travel.

Derbent is the most ancient city in Russia. It is 5,000 yeas old. Its main attraction is Naryn-Kala citadel.

Lunch of national cuisine at the Great Silk Road restaurant with shashlik and tasting Derbent wines and cognac.

Excursion to Naryn-Kala citadel.

After lunch you can take a walk along old streets-magals, visit the Juma Mosque and feast your eyes on the combination of ancient and later buildings.

You can also pop in the local grocery market and buy cheese, dried fruits, urbech, honey and jam.

You can enjoy your time for unaccompanied walks and farewell with Derbent.
